Premium unleaded provides a higher octane which
will help to prevent engine knock and run-on in most gasoline
engines requiring unleaded gasoline. Premium unleaded gasoline
is blended in both summer and winter grades. The difference
between the two grades is not critical during the changeover
period.

All propane sold for domestic consumption in
Canada must meet the HD5 standard. This spec requires propane to
be at least 90% pure, although most product today is over 95%
pure propane.

Stove Oil is blended specifically for space heaters,
oil hot water heaters and gun-type furnaces. It has a very
low cloud and pour point characteristic which permits it to be
stored inside or outside. |

Furnace Fuel |

Furnace Fuel is produced to meet the requirements
for gun-type furnaces. It is heavier than stove oil and is
therefore unsuitable for space heaters and oil-type
hot water heaters.

Kerosene is blended to meet the requirements for portable space
heaters, lamps and gravity fed stoves. It has very low cloud and
pour points which allow it to be stored outside.

Solvent is used in a variety of industrial processes and product
applications. Typical uses include
dry-cleaning solvent, paint and varnish thinner, floor wax
polishes, metal cleaning, weather degreasing, textile printing,
and selected weed killers. All petroleum solvents are
flammable. Under certain conditions their vapor-air mixtures
will explode if ignited.

Camp Fuel |

Co-op Camp Fuel is produced for use in pressure lighting and
burning equipment including stoves, lanterns, heating units and
blow torches. Camp fuel may also be used in catalytic type
heaters requiring camp fuel or naphtha. Camp fuel is extremely
volatile and care should be taken in handling and storing.
