Premium unleaded provides a higher octane which will help to prevent engine knock and run-on in most gasoline engines requiring unleaded gasoline. Premium unleaded gasoline is blended in both summer and winter grades. The difference between the two grades is not critical during the changeover period.

Vehicular Use

Specs MSDS

All propane sold for domestic consumption in Canada must meet the HD5 standard. This spec requires propane to be at least 90% pure, although most product today is over 95% pure propane.

Heating Fuel

Stove Oil

Specs MSDS

Stove Oil is blended specifically for space heaters, oil hot water heaters and gun-type furnaces.  It has a very low cloud and pour point characteristic which permits it to be stored inside or outside.

Furnace Fuel

Specs MSDS

Furnace Fuel is produced to meet the requirements for gun-type furnaces.  It is heavier than stove oil and is therefore unsuitable for space heaters and oil-type hot water heaters.

Kerosene

Specs MSDS

Kerosene is blended to meet the requirements for portable space heaters, lamps and gravity fed stoves. It has very low cloud and pour points which allow it to be stored outside.

Solvent

Specs MSDS

Solvent is used in a variety of industrial processes and product applications. Typical uses include dry-cleaning solvent, paint and varnish thinner, floor wax polishes, metal cleaning, weather degreasing, textile printing, and selected weed killers.  All petroleum solvents are flammable. Under certain conditions their vapor-air mixtures will explode if ignited.

Camp Fuel

Specs

Co-op Camp Fuel is produced for use in pressure lighting and burning equipment including stoves, lanterns, heating units and blow torches. Camp fuel may also be used in catalytic type heaters requiring camp fuel or naphtha. Camp fuel is extremely volatile and care should be taken in handling and storing.
