Petting Zoo

The Country Junction is well known for its involvement in the community. One event, popular with the children was our "petting zoo" which was held in the heart of the store.

No it's not a flaw in the camera and the person taking the pictures was not looking through a fuzzy screen. We have deliberately unfocussed the faces of the children and their parents for privacy reasons.

So many farm animals, so many children, lots of petting, and lots of fun for all.

We all look forward to this annual event.

Toonie Lunches

We are committed to assisting with community fund-raising projects. The Country Junction provides facilities, equipment, food and drinks to community groups to host regular Toonie Lunch Bar-B-Q's at the Country Junction location. Over $10,000 has been raised this way in the last two years.

One Toonie buys a hot barbecued hamburger and soft drink.

Pavilions

For special events in the community or for company functions the Country Junction has two huge canvassed pavilions that are used throughout the year as protection from the elements. Okay, it gives us some advertising, too, but mostly these tents are very useful. We deliver and set them up for the function and then go in and take them down, too.
