 COWS

Beef Pasture Ration

Designed to be fed to cows and calves over 350 lbs. in the fall, or whenever pasture conditions become less than adequate.  This is a pelleted ration which contains some screenings from our own grains and an adequate mineral package to complement fall pasture.
Beef Pellets
A good grain-based complete feed pellet which, when fed at 3-5 kg, contains all the minerals and vitamins for a good winter mineral program.  This pellet contains no screenings and is available in both 15% and 17% crude protein.
Beef Pellets SC
A good economical grain-based complete feed pellet which when fed at 3-5 kg contains all the minerals and vitamins of a good winter mineral program.  This pellet contains 1/4 good barley screenings and is available in both 12%, 14%, and 15% crude protein.
Range Buster ETD
These pellets contain Biurette, a slow release protein source which gives this feed the option to be fed every second day.  The pellets are designed to be mixed in the total ration.  This ration is also available in cubes rather than pellets.  The advantage of the cubed ration is it can be fed on the ground in the winter and takes longer for cows to chew which ensures dominant cows don't over-consume.
Brood Cow Supplement
This pelleted supplement is designed to be fed to cows during calving season and to get more protein in the ration during this critical time, as well as provide minerals and vitamins with high bi-availability.

 CALVES

Right Way Calf Creep Ration
Designed to get gain without using grain, this ration makes an excellent creep for replacement cattle.  Designed with no starch to have minimal insult to the rumen population, Right Way Rations ensure sound mobility and longevity.  This pelleted ration is designed with organic vitamins and minerals.
Calf Creep Ration
This rolled calf starter is designed to get calves on feed fast.  This feed is very palatable and is rolled with a desirable level of molasses.  In addition to rolled grains this ration also contains a mix pellet containing organic vitamins and minerals and additional protein.
Beef Creep Ration
This is an economical, pelleted creep ration designed to keep calves growing at a good rate, and ensuring their mothers have the opportunity to stay in good condition.  This ration contains good protein levels and an adequate mineral package to suit varying pasture conditions.

BULLS, REPLACEMENT HEIFERS & SHOW CATTLE

Right Way Bull Ration
Designed to get gain without using grain, this is the ration used by over fifty top ranches across Alberta when raising bulls every year.  This Pelleted ration is designed with longevity and reproductive maturity in mind and contains organic minerals and vitamins and no starch.  It is available in 12%, 14%, and 16% crude protein.
Right Way Heifer Ration
Designed with the same nutritional philosophy as the bull ration, this ration meets the needs of heifers that are intended to be the cornerstone of any good operation.  Both the bull ration and heifer ration make excellent feed for replacement cattle, no matter which sex.
Right Way Fitting Ration
With the same philosophy as the bull ration and the heifer ration, this ration is designed to be fed to cattle requiring a little more bloom and condition for a show or sale, which is why it contains ComposureHFP, a high fat high fibre product.  This is still a non-starch ration designed for rumen health longevity and is available in both 15% and 12% crude protein.
Show Cattle Grower & Conditioner
These two classic rolled rations are designed to be fed to cattle when preparing them for a show or sale.  They are a balanced blend of barley, corn, oats, peas, molasses, and a mix pellet containing organic vitamins and minerals.  These are highly palatable and visually appealing rations.
4H Starter/Grower & Finisher
Our 4H program is based on two feeds that are designed to be fed to calves from point of weaning until the show.  The finishing ration has slightly less protein and more energy.  These rations are designed to be fed by 4H members looking to have a properly finished steer that gets noticed when they walk in the ring.
Show Cattle Supplement
This pelleted supplement is designed to achieve the same level of performance as the Show Cattle Complete Feeds.  This option can be utilized by producers who prefer to use their own grains.  This ration was designed to provide the fine tuning which a feedlot supplement never could.

 BACKGROUNDING, FEEDLOT SUPPLEMENTS & PREMIX

Feedlot Grower
#1, #2, #3

These are a line of complete feeds designed to be fed to calves from 350 lbs. right through to finish.  These three balanced rations provide sufficient levels of minerals and vitamins and can be fed free choice to calves that are looking to get a running start at the feedlot.  These rations also work well for finishing cattle.
Beef Supplement
These supplements are designed to be mixed with grains on farm.  They provide additional protein, vitamin and mineral supplementation when fed at one pound per day - perfect for backgrounding calves.  Available with or without urea, 32-18 and 32-0 respectively.
Feedlot Supplement
This is a series of three feedlot supplements designed to match the needs of feedlot cattle.  These pelleted supplements provide adequate levels of vitamins and minerals to keep cattle healthy and match the protein and energy requirements of feedlot cattle.  Available in a 24-10, 30-8, and 16-8, fed at one pound per day.  Also available is a feedlot premix to be fed at 1/2 pound per day, and designed to provide no additional protein, but an adequate level of minerals and vitamins necessary for a feedlot diet.
