Bernie Grumpelt, M.Sc.
Nutritionist & Feed Department Manager

Raised on a dairy and grain farm in Manitoba,
Bernie has been with the Co-op organization for over fifteen years,
over seven with Wetaskiwin Co-op.
He received his MSc. Degree from the University of Manitoba in Dairy Nutrition.
He says, " Nutrition has been my focus for the past
twenty-two years. Learning more about nutrition and applying that to benefit our customers
and the farming community is the main goal of my endeavours. A great organization
like the Wetaskiwin Country Junction Co-op makes this goal easier to accomplish."

Bill Smook, B.Sc.
Feed Marketing Representative

Bill is our Poultry expert.
He'll work extra hard to ensure
you maintain good profits and get good service from the Country Junction.
He has been with the Wetaskiwin Co-op since 1981. Bill
earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Alberta. As
staff Agrologist with the Country Junction Feed Mill he works with livestock producers to
design nutritious and reliable feeding programs.

Bob, raised on a dairy farm in British
Columbia, is a
ruminant nutritionist with over 30 years of experience
as professional agrologist.
Involved in the Alberta feed industry since 1992, Bob has extensive knowledge of
the Dairy and Beef industry with an
emphasis on Nutrition and Management.

Henry Klaas
Feed Marketing Representative

Henry come to Country Juntion Feeds as part of the
new feed manufacturing strategy recently announced between Country
Junction Feeds and Consultant Feeds. With 40 years experience in
the feed industry, nearly half with Consultant Feeds, Henry services
both Beef and Dairy accounts throughout Central Alberta. His focus
is helping his producers find solutions with their various feeding
requirements.

Carol Martin is an avid barrel racer, competing in
the ABRA and rodeo.
She has a Master of Science in Agronomy and is a
Professional Agrologest. Carol can add value to forage production
which can lead to profitability to producer's bottomline.
With more than 20 years experience in sales and
customer service combined with her extensive knowledge of the equine
industry Carol is able to help you enhance the productivity of any size
