The Wetaskiwin Co-op Association was formed in 1917 and since that time has faithfully served its community and its membership.  Community fund-raising projects have always been a huge part of Co-op's commitment to assisting the community - the families, service clubs, charitable endeavor, and many other non-profit organizations that require financial assistance.  The Gerry Bussard Memorial Scholarship is an extension of the many community-minded activities that the Co-op supports.

This year's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the establishment of this memorial scholarship in the name of Gerry Bussard, a deserving individual that unselfishly served his community.

"The Wetaskiwin Co-op was formed by the community for the community.  Indeed, we continue to believe in that philosophy and our business decisions and community projects are guided by that belief."

Bert Horvey, General Manager
